Tabby (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that provides a spreadsheet and to-do list inside Chrome’s side panel. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension handles, how it is stored, and your rights as a user.

2. Data We Collect

Tabby does not collect any personal data.

We do not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share:

Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, age, ID numbers)
Health information
Financial or payment information
Authentication credentials (passwords, PINs, security questions)
Personal communications (emails, texts, chat messages)
Location data (IP address, GPS, region)
Web history or browsing activity
User activity (clicks, keystrokes, mouse movement, network monitoring)
Website content

3. Local Storage

All data you create in Tabby (tables, rows, columns, cell values, and to-do items) is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s built-in chrome.storage.local API.

Your data never leaves your browser
Your data is not sent to any server
Your data is not accessible by us or any third party

4. Permissions Justification

Tabby requests the following Chrome permissions:

Permission	Reason
`storage`	To save your tables, columns, rows, and to-do items locally in your browser
`sidePanel`	To display the spreadsheet and to-do list in Chrome’s side panel alongside any webpage

No other permissions are requested. No network access is required or used.

5. Third-Party Services

Tabby does not use any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or external APIs. No data is shared with any third party under any circumstances.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data persists in Chrome’s local storage until you:

Manually clear it within the extension
Clear your browser’s local storage / extension data via Chrome settings
Uninstall the extension (which removes all associated local data)

7. Children’s Privacy

Tabby does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, the Extension is safe for all ages.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes in a future version of the Extension, the updated policy will be published at this URL and the “Last Updated” date will be revised. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
